Sometimes things just seems to work out. A blue filter, some good light and me on hand with the camera. The peg really stood out in the natural like. Its a simple shot, yet I think one which is very effective.

This is the colour version of Nothingness. I is I think equally good, but carries a different mood and feel. I really like it though. In fact I have had this blown up to 3 feet by 8 inches. It is presently out getting framed and will be a perminant addition to the wall.

Sometimes you just capture the moment. I walked out of my house and noticed the sky. I raced back in inside to grab my camera. I really like the tonal range in this image

There are a lot of reasons I like this shot. I have always liked surreal and abstract images, and this one certainly fits that motif. It is always very emotive. It seems to suck up into nothingness, Its almost as if you can't hear anything anymore. The other reason I really like this image is its brightness. I used a red filter and because the sky and the water were originally so vivid, it ended up very bright, but not blown out.
